North toward the airport, these bays have some of the most accessible house reefs in Sharm, several reachable directly from the shore or a short jetty. For divers and snorkellers this is the practical choice. Outside the resorts there is little to walk to, so plan on hotel dining.

Further north, Nabq holds many of the largest all-inclusive resorts on wide, quiet beaches. It suits families wanting space and an inclusive rate. The sea entry at several properties is shallow with seagrass, which is fine for wading and poor for swimming — confirm before booking.

South of Naama, the cliff-top area has hotels perched above the water with good reef below, reached by jetties and steps. The reef quality is a genuine draw. The steps are a real consideration for anyone with limited mobility, and the walk back up in heat is not trivial.
