Hoi An old town
The preserved trading town is small, walkable and genuinely atmospheric once the lanterns come on, with tailors, restaurants and the covered bridge. It is the main reason most people come to this coast. The old town is crowded in the evening, the beach is a ride away, and vehicle access to some streets is restricted at certain hours.
